The Role of Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture on Human Resource Performance Through Employee Welbeing in the Internal Audit Unit of PT PLN (Persero)

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on human resource performance with employee wellbeing as an intervening variable at the Internal Audit Unit of PT PLN (Persero). This research employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents who are employees of the Internal Audit Unit of PT PLN (Persero). Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results show that transformational leadership does not affect employee wellbeing and human resource performance. In addition, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee wellbeing and human resource performance. Employee wellbeing is able to mediate the positive and significant influence of organizational culture on human resource performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the management of PT PLN (Persero) strengthen organizational culture and improve employee wellbeing in order to contribute to the enhancement of human resource performance.
