The Influence of Work-Life Balance on Employee Performance: The Mediating Role of Employee Well-Being and Engagement

Abstract


This study examines the impact of work-life balance on employee performance at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in the Riau Islands Province, with particular attention to the mediating roles of employee well-being and engagement. The research was conducted among employees at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia in the Riau Islands Province using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results provide in-depth insights and practical guidance, encouraging a paradigm shift toward cultivating a healthier and more engaged workforce, thereby strengthening organizational competitiveness.
