FOCUS AND SCOPE

Global Elementary Education is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Elementary Education, Sultan Agung Islamic University. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to disseminate research findings, ideas, and innovations in elementary education.

The journal publishes original research articles and review articles covering:

  • Teaching and learning in elementary education, including mathematics, science, social studies, languages, civics, religion, physical education, and arts;

  • Curriculum, instructional design, and innovative pedagogical practices;

  • Literacy, numeracy, assessment, and educational psychology;

  • Educational technology, digital learning, and artificial intelligence in education;

  • Inclusive education, special education, character education, and social-emotional learning;

  • Guidance and counseling, student development, and well-being;

  • Educational management, leadership, and policy;

  • Teacher education and professional development; and

  • Contemporary innovations, including STEM/STEAM education, computational thinking, culturally responsive pedagogy, and sustainability education.

Global Elementary Education welcomes empirical studies, conceptual papers, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of theory and practice in elementary education. The journal is published twice a year and accepts original manuscripts that have not been previously published.
