The Role of Internal Control in Improving Human Resource Performance Based on Remote Team Leadership

Abstract


Abstrak. Seorang pemimpin yang memimpin karyawan dari jarak jauh demi mencapai tujuan organisasi dapat disebut sebagai pemimpin virtual. Pemimpin ini memanfaatkan teknologi modern untuk membangun model komunikasi baru dengan para pengikutnya guna meningkatkan efektivitas kerja. Interaksi  tradisional dengan tatap muka telah digantikan oleh media elektronik. Kepemimpinan yang dijalankan melalui media elektronik atau internet dikenal sebagai E-Leadership. Konsep ini, yang juga merujuk pada kepemimpinan tim jarak jauh, telah berkembang sebagai pengganti kepemimpinan tradisional seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian explanatory survey, yang bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis guna memperoleh dukungan empiris terhadap kebenaran atau penolakan hipotesis tersebut. Metode explanatory survey dipilih karena mampu menjelaskan hubungan kausal, baik yang bersifat sebab-akibat maupun timbal balik, serta menilai pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Desain penelitian eksplanatori ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai generalisasi dari sampel terhadap populasi, serta menguraikan hubungan, perbedaan, atau pengaruh antar variabel dalam konteks pengujian hipotesis. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya bagi organisasi untuk memprioritaskan pengembangan dan implementasi sistem kepemimpinan tim jarak jauh dan pengendalian internal yang kuat sebagai strategi utama untuk meningkatkan kinerja SDM.
