THE EFFECT OF INTRINSIC MOTIVATION ON JOB SATISFACTION and HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) PERFORMANCE (Case Study on Community Empowerment Experts of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration at the District Level of North Sumatra Province)
Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to analyze the effect of intrinsic motivation on job satisfaction, job satisfaction on HR performance and intrinsic motivation on HR performance study at TAPM Regency of North Sumatra Province. The population in this study were all TAPM Regency. The sampling technique used the census technique, namely taking the entire population of 139 people. The descriptive statistical analysis used the three box method calculation. The results of the analysis of hypothesis 1 showed that the Job Satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect on HR Performance with a path coefficient (O = 0.540) and t values 6.801> 1.96 with p values showing 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that Job Satisfaction has a very strong, positive, and significant relationship with HR Performance. The results of hypothesis testing 2 show that the Intrinsic Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction with a path coefficient (O = 0.818) and t values 13.237> 1.96 with p values showing 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted so it can be concluded that Intrinsic Motivation has a very strong, positive, and significant relationship on Job Satisfaction. The results of hypothesis testing 3 show that the intrinsic motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on HR performance with a path coefficient (O = 0.334) and t values 3.846> 1.96 with p values showing 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted so it can be concluded that the intrinsic motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on HR performance.
