The Effect of Empowerment on Performance Through Motivation and Job Satisfaction at Grobogan Police
Abstract
Abstract. This study aims to investigate the impact of empowerment, extrinsic motivation, Islamic job satisfaction, and performance of police personnel at Grobogan Resort. The research method applied is explanatory research involving all police personnel at Grobogan Resort Police, totaling 89 personnel, selected using census sampling techniques. Primary data collection was conducted through a questionnaire designed to measure the variables mentioned earlier. Measurements were conducted using a questionnaire with a statement interval of 1 to 5, ranging from Strongly Disagree (STS) to Strongly Agree (SS). Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The research findings show that employee empowerment has a significant role in improving personnel performance, by strengthening extrinsic motivation and Islamic job satisfaction. The practical implication of this finding is the importance of empowerment strategies in improving the quality of police personnel performance. The conclusion of the hypothesis testing shows that the more effective the empowerment, the higher the extrinsic motivation, the better the Islamic job satisfaction, the stronger the empowerment, the better the personnel performance, the higher the extrinsic motivation, the better the personnel performance, and the higher the Islamic job satisfaction, the better the personnel performance.
