Ulul Albab: Jurnal Studi dan Penelitian Hukum Islam (Print ISSN 2597-6168 | Online ISSN 2597-6176) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Department of Sharia at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung, in collaboration with the Perkumpulan Dosen Hukum Keluarga Islam (PDHKI). The journal is accredited as SINTA 1 under Decree No. 295/C/C3/KPT/2026 issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. It is committed to advancing rigorous and internationally engaged scholarship in the field of Islamic law, with particular emphasis on the challenges and transformations arising from developments in science and technology.

The journal provides a scholarly forum for the study of Islamic jurisprudence, maqāṣid al-sharīʿah, comparative madhhab studies, Islamic legal philosophy, and contemporary approaches to Islamic legal thought. It particularly encourages critical and interdisciplinary research examining the ways in which Islamic legal traditions respond to emerging issues in artificial intelligence, digital technology, biotechnology, medical innovation, financial technology, cyber ethics, environmental technology, and other science- and technology-related developments affecting contemporary Muslim societies.

Ulul Albab welcomes original research articles that contribute to the theoretical, methodological, and practical development of Islamic legal studies in the context of scientific and technological change. The journal seeks to promote scholarly conversations that connect classical Islamic legal heritage with contemporary scientific advancement through analytical, contextual, and forward-looking approaches.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, methodological integrity, and scholarly relevance. Published in English through an Open Journal System (OJS), the journal aims to foster wider international accessibility, intellectual exchange, and global academic collaboration.

The journal is indexed in DOAJ, Crossref, Dimensions, Google Scholar, WorldCat, and other recognised scholarly databases. Ulul Albab is committed to upholding high standards of publication ethics and supporting innovative scholarship that advances the future trajectory of Islamic legal studies in an increasingly technological world.
