The Influence of Ethical Leadership and Knowledge Sharing on Employee Performance Mediated by Organizational Commitment in Higher Education
Abstract
Abstract. Employee performance is very important for the progress of an organization. This study aims to analyze the Influence of Ethical Leadership and Knowledge Sharing on Employee Performance Mediated by Organizational Commitment of Higher Education Institutions. Using quantitative methods, the sample of this study amounted to 100 employees of higher education institutions. Data collection for this study was directly from respondents and online using questionnaires. The sampling technique used the non-probability sampling method in the form of purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used Smart PLS 4.0 analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) Ethical Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, (2) Knowledge Sharing has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, (3) Ethical Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (4) Knowledge Sharing does not have a positive effect on employee performance, (5) Organizational Commitment has a positive effect on employee performance.
