THE EFFECT OF AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT, SPIRITUAL MOTIVATION, AND ISLAMIC LEADERSHIP ON HUMAN RESOURCE PERFORMANCE

Abstract


Abstract. This study aims to test affective commitment, spiritual motivation, Islamic leadership, in influencing human resource performance. To test these variables, the researcher conducted this study using a survey method, namely a sample of 170 village officials in Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study analyzes five hypotheses using SEM PLS modeling as an analysis tool. The results of the study indicate that affective commitment does not affect human resource performance, while spiritual motivation affects affective commitment, but spiritual motivation does not affect human resource performance. Islamic leadership affects spiritual motivation, and Islamic leadership affects human resource performance. The managerial implications of the results of this study are expected to be used by village officials in Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency to create strategies in an effort to improve human resource performance, including: increasing human resource involvement, increasing a sense of belonging and higher goals, improving human resource welfare, creating a more positive and conducive work environment by implementing Islamic principles such as justice, equality, and transparency, building trust and strong relationships between leaders and human resources by implementing Islamic leadership, Islamic leaders who inspire and provide good examples can encourage human resources to work harder and achieve common goals, providing training to leaders on Islamic leadership principles and how to apply them in the workplace.
