Focus and Scope

Ta'dibuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam accepts original and high-quality research manuscripts resulting primarily from quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methodology related to or associated with Islamic education that has not been published. These issues include but are not limited to, practices, policies, and research in Islamic education from early childhood education to higher education which cover:

1. The Areas of Instruction;
2. Learning;
3. Teaching;
4. Curriculum Design and Development;
5. Pesantren Education;
6. Contemporary Issues on Islamic Education;
7. Educational Policy, etc.

Peer Review Process

Every article that is sent to Journal Ta'dibuna will be reviewed by a reviewer (single-blind review). The decision of whether the submitted article will be published or not is determined by the editor's forum based on the comments from reviewers. An Examining of plagiarism will be done with the help of Google Scholar and Turnitin System.

Manuscript processing time in Journal Ta'dibuna:

  1. The author has 15 day waiting period on the first article submission, the section editor will decide whether the article needs to be revised or not.
  2. The section editor needs 3 days to examine the article based on the Journal Ta'dibuna author guidelines.
  3. The author has 12 days to revise the article consistent with the Journal Ta'dibuna author guideline.
  4. In the revised article given to the editor to be reviewed, the editorial team needs 15 days to finish the review.
  5. If the article is Declined, the section editor has 3 days to inform the author of the editorial team's decision.
  6. If the article Revision is Required, the editorial team will proceed with the article to the reviewer.
  7. A reviewer has 30 days to review the article divided into two times reviews and provide the decision, Accepted or Declined
  8. The editorial team discusses the final decision in an editorial team meeting on whether the articles recommended by the reviewers proceed to be Published or Declined. The editorial team has 20 days to make the final decision.
  9. The soon-to-be-published articles are lay-outed by the section editor for 30 days.
  10. The author has 3 days to confirm the layout result.
  11. The section editor publishes the accepted articles.

 

Publication Frequency

Ta’dibuna is a journal of Islamic Education published by Master Program of Islamic Education, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Islam Sultan Agung, Semarang, Indonesia. It is a semi-annual journal published in November and May for developing the scientific ethos. The editor accepts scientific articles and results of research in accordance with its nature as a journal of Islamic Education Studies.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
