Colorectal cancer is a disease that originates from the epithelium lining the colon and rectum. Anemia and malnutrition are the main factors affecting postoperative morbidity and mortality rates. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of anemia and malnutrition on postoperative complications of colorectal cancer patients at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital. Observational research with cross sectional design with sampling through consecutive sampling technique. The samples in this study were 58 samples consisting of 30 anemia samples and 28 malnutrition samples. This research was conducted on December 3, 2024 - December 27, 2024. Sampling was done using medical record data. Data were analyzed using chi square. The results of this study showed that respondents with postoperative complications of stage III colorectal cancer with mild malnutrition were 11 (78.6%), moderate malnutrition was found to be 2 (33.3%), and severe malnutrition was found in all respondents, namely 8 (100.0%). In anemic respondents as many as 24 (92.3%) respondents with complications after stage III colorectal cancer surgery. The results of the chi square test obtained a p-value of 0.016 (<0.05) in malnutrition so that there is a significant influence between malnutrition and postoperative complications of stage III colorectal cancer. The results of the chi square test on anemia respondents obtained a p-value of 0.020 (<0.05) indicate that there is a significant relationship between anemia and postoperative complications of stage III colorectal cancer. There is a relationship between anemia and malnutrition and postoperative complications in patients with stage 3 colorectal cancer at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital.
