Author Guidelines

STYLE OF MANUSCRIPT

The manuscript is typed in Full English with double spacing on A4-sized paper (297x210mm) using Arial 14 pts, using moderate margin (right-left margins of 2.54 and top-bottom margins of 1.91cm. Line spacing is 1.5. Articles should not exceed 12 printed pages, including illustrations and references.

 

Guideline

Title should be written in English, Capital letters go at the beginning of each sentence. Justify, bold, Arial 14pt font, not exceed 15 words. Brief, concise and informative. Name of Author(s) should include full names of author(s), address to which proofs are to be sent, name and address of the department(s). Author name is written not more than six authors. Regardless tittle

Abstracts should be written in English, Arial 10pt font, maximum 250 words, written clear and concise. Abstract mannered:

a. Research Article: Background, Method, Result and Conclusion

b. Case report: Background, Case(s) and Conclusion

c. Review Article: Background, Method, Result and Conclusion

Keywords maximum of five keywords should be written in English at the bottom left of the abstract and in alphabetical order.

 

Manuscript body

A. Research/Original article

  1. Introduction (Clearly state the background of the study, the main problem and the purpose of the study.)
  2. Research Method (State ethical clearance when required. Clearly explain the details of research methods and the statistical analysis used in the study.)
  3. Results (Data should be presented in table or graphs.)
  4. Discussion (Clearly state the interpretation of the study results and the discussion of the other relevant published data.)
  5. Conclusion (Avoid undue extrapolation of the finding of the study.)
  6. Acknowledgement (Individuals with a contribution in the study but not included in authorship may be acknowledged. The source of financial support and industry affiliations of all those involved must be stated.)
  7. References

B. Case report

  1. Introduction (Concise. Clearly describe the background of the case, the main problem and the aim of the report.)
  2. Case report (Describe the relevant details of the case report.)
  3. Discussion (Describe the interpretation of the finding and discuss with other relevant published data.)
  4. Conclusion (Avoid undue extrapolation of the finding of the case report.)
  5. Acknowledgement (Individuals with a contribution in the study but not included in authorship may be acknowledged. The source of financial support and industry affiliations of all those involved must be stated.)
  6. References 

C. Review

References

Authors are encouraged to use journal articles published in the last ten years as the primary references. It is the obligation of the author to ensure that all references used are quoted accurately, correct and written according to the guidelines. Each reference quoted should be numbered according to the Vancouver superscript no et al. style., Arial 10pt, single space. 

 

Figures and Tables

Figure formatted in jpg/jpeg. Each figure and table should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
