Author Guidelines

The manuscript submitted to IJS shall not have been published or accepted elsewhere or considered other publications. Any manuscripts being processed by IJS should never be sent to the other journal or media until further notification from the IJS secretariat.

The manuscript submitted shall follow the following guidelines;

 1. Language

The IJS publishes articles in English use standard academic, correct punctuation, professionally proof-read, and have passed “spell and grammar checked.” The Turnitin application will be used to screen plagiarism by the editor of the IJS journal.

Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their papers checked before submission for grammar and clarity. We use Grammarly to helps us eliminate language errors. Make sure that the manuscript does not have errors in 10% of plagiarism indicators.

2. Format

The Articles are typed using a standard font (Times New Roman, 1.5 line spaced, 12pt) except for indented quotations. The Articles were submitted via email in Microsoft Word format (.Doc or . Docx).

3. Articles Length

The article should be between 4000 and 7000 words and shall comprise an abstract of 150-200 words with three to five keywords. The manuscripts with a length less than or exceeding the criteria will be returned to the author(s). The word count excludes tables, figures, and references.

 4. References

References should follow APA Reference with the Harvard Citation Style or Mendeley with Minimally 10 references required. Only literature cited should appear at the end of the manuscript. Authorities must be ordered alphabetically.

 5. Author’s name and affiliation

The author’s name shall include no academic degrees, with the primary author must come at the top of others. The IJS editors will correspond only with the primary author or the author listed in the first place.

6. Title

The title of the article should be specific, effective and approximately not more than 20 words. Please write an article title using simple and straightforward language that can offer readers a glimpse of the content at its first glance.

7. Artwork

The author must provide high-quality artwork for all illustrations. Poor resolution or definition is not acceptable. Tables and Figures should be numbered separately. (Table 1, Table 2; Figure 1, Figure 2). Each table and each figure should be given a title and presented on a separate page at the end of the manuscript. Figures and tables reproduced from already published work must be listed with permission from the original publisher (or copyright holder, if not the publisher).

 

Copyright Notice

The copyright of the received article shall be assigned to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the publishing rights to the published articles.
