Hubungan antara Belas Kasih Diri dengan Stigma Diri pada Orang Dengan HIV/AIDS

Abstract


Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) sering kali membawa beban psikologis bagi Orang dengan HIV/AIDS, terutama akibat pandangan negatif sosial yang berujung pada stigma diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara belas kasih diri dengan stigma diri pada orang dengan HIV/AIDS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 104 responden 86 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan orang dengan HIV/AIDS. Terdapat dua alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Sayles Internalized HIV Stigma Scale yang diadaptasi oleh Sugianto terdiri (28 aitem = 0,872) dan Skala Welas Diri yang diadaptasi oleh Raya terdiri (26 aitem = 0,924). Analisis data menggunakan Spearman Rho, hasil analisis menunjukkan korelasi sebesar r = –0,324 dengan taraf signifikansi (p<0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara belas kasih diri dengan stigma diri pada orang dengan HIV/AIDS.
