Hubungan antara Empati Dengan Perilaku Prososial Pada Bystander Dalam Menolong Korban Bullying di SMP Negeri Y Tegal
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara empati dengan perilaku prososial pada bystander dalam menolong korban bullying di SMP Negeri Y Tegal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi siswa kelas 8 dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 75 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala Empati (EmQue-CA) dan skala Perilaku Prososial (PTM-R). Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara empati dan perilaku prososial dengan korelasi rxy sebesar 0,398 dan taraf signifikansi 0,001 (p<0,01). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi empati yang dimiliki siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan siswa untuk menampilkan perilaku prososial dalam menolong korban bullying.
