Hubungan Antara Kepercayaan Diri Dengan Motivasi Berinovasi Pada Karyawan di PT. XYZ
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berinovasi pada karyawan di PT. XYZ. Motivasi berinovasi menjadi penting dalam menghadapi tantangan di era industri 5.0, perusahaan dituntut untuk terus beradaptasi melalui penciptaan ide-ide inovatif. Kepercayaan diri diduga menjadi salah satu faktor intrinsik yang dapat memengaruhi motivasi untuk berinovasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 79 karyawan yang pernah mengikuti program”juara inovasi”. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan dua skala, yaitu skala kepercayaan diri dan skala motivasi berinovasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dan motivasi berinovasi (rxy = 0,555; p = 0,000 < 0,01). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa makin tinggi kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki karyawan, maka makin tinggi pula motivasi karyawan untuk berinovasi. Motivasi Intrinsik memiliki hubungan lebih kuat dengan kepercayaan diri dari pada motivasi ekstrinsik berinovasi karyawan. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan hasil korelasi motivasi intrinsik dengan kepercayaan diri yang memperoleh nilai rxy = 0,674; p = 0,000 < 0,01. Kemudian hasil korelasi motivasi ekstrinsik dengan kepercayaan diri memperoleh nilai rxy = 0,274; p = 0,015 < 0,05.
