Mochamad Ridwan, Setyawati Setyawati

Abstract

literature study method as well as a legislative and conceptual approach. Data were analyzed qualitatively through a descriptive-analytical method. The results of the study indicate that blockchain technology can improve the efficiency of Notary services by accelerating the document verification process, secure digital storage, and reducing manual bureaucracy. In addition, blockchain provides advantages in terms of data security, transparency, and traceability of legal documents. However, its implementation still faces obstacles in the form of unclear regulations, limited technological infrastructure, and resistance from some Notaries to changes in conventional systems. This study concludes that legal reform and public policy are needed to support the integration of blockchain technology in notary practice, including the preparation of technical standards, HR training, and collaboration between the government, professional associations, and technology actors.
