The condition of the Indonesian nation in cases of criminal acts of corruption is increasingly widespread, while the punishment does not have a deterrent effect on the corruptors, and there is a weakening of the regulatory articles contained in Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code. The author is interested in analyzing everything related to sanctions regulations which are increasingly chaotic and do not guarantee the realization of legal justice for society. This research uses library research methods, namely research relating to library data collection methods, or research in which the research object is explored through various library information (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines and documents). Which relates to the problem of descriptive analysis techniques and approaches used to analyze the urgency of criminal sanctions in justice-based corruption crimes. With this, it is up to law enforcement officers to implement existing laws, along with consideration of related matters. And for regulators to immediately revise the criminal law on corruption, especially in these articles, it makes corruption even more rampant and makes it difficult to achieve legal justice for society.
