Implications of Criminal Law in the Scope of Health Services

Abstract


The aim of this research is to examine and analyze aspects of criminal law within the scope of health services. In this writing the author uses a normative juridical method with research specifications in the form of descriptive analysis. Criminal law in human life has a very important function, apart from its function of regulating and carrying out an orderly and orderly life in society, law also has another function, namely protecting against things that would violate the interests of the law. The law provides certain limitations, so that humans cannot act at will in an effort to achieve and fulfill their interests so as not to harm the interests and rights of other people. Criminal law policy that regulates criminal law protection in health or medical services. Before publication, the special regulations used were the Criminal Code. To give special attention to the community in health services, the Health Law was issued. Legal relations in the field of health services are carried out in the form of a relationship between a doctor and a patient. Health care services are the right of every person guaranteed in the 1945 Constitution to make efforts to improve the health status of both individuals and groups or society as a whole.
