MEASURING COVID-19 VACCINATION IN MAQASID ASY-SYARI’AH PERSPECTIVE AND PRINCIPLES OF ITS USEFULNESS

Abstract


This article talks and analyzes the use of vaccination in the context of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic from the perspective of MaqÄá¹£id Asy-syarī’ah. Vaccine is a substance which is a form of biological product that is known to come from viruses, bacteria or from a combination of the two which is weakened. Vaccines are given to healthy individuals to stimulate the emergence of antibodies or immunity to prevent infection from certain diseases. The use of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Vaccination is reaping pros and cons in society, especially Muslims. This is because in the manufacturing process it uses the virus that is in Covid. Based on the background above, the problem in this research is how Maqasid Asy-syari’ah traces the benefits of using the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Vaccination This research is library research (librabry research), where the data used is library data. . The analysis in this study used the MaqÄá¹£id Asy-syarÄ« ‟ah analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Vaccination is to use the dharurat principle method. The use of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Vaccination in the view of MaqÄá¹£id Asy-syarī’ah includes five points, namely maintaining religion, soul, mind, property, and descent.
