Abstract


The moral development of students is one of the priorities for Islamic educational institutions. Especially in the midst of the threat of Covid 19, making educational institutions unable to freely carry out face-to-face learning. Therefore, it is necessary to have an educational institution that is able to carry out a strategy of character building for students in the Covid 19 era

The purpose of this study is to find out a) What is the strategy of building the morals of students at MTs al-Irsayad Gajah in the Covid 19 era. B) what are the inhibiting factors in implementing the strategy of developing the morals of students at MTs al-Irsyad Gajah in the Covid 19 era.

This study uses a research method (field research). The author of this study was sought by using field data collection techniques with a qualitative approach. by using observation, interviews, and documentation.

By using these methods and steps, the results of this study can be concluded as follows: a) The strategy for building the morals of students at MTs al-Irsayd Gajah in the Covid 19 era, the school has used many strategies used in moral development, namely by way of applying the form of morals, namely morals to Allah, akhkal to humans and morals to the environment and by using methods of discipline, habituation, advice and punishment in building the morals of students. b) The inhibiting factor in implementing the moral development strategy of students at MTs al-Irsyad Gajah in the Covid 19 era, as for the obstacles in moral development in distance learning or direct or face-to-face learning at school is that there are still some students who cannot carry out habituation or practice. the highest order that has been made
