Abstract
The implementation of School Principal Administrative Management in Improving the Quality of Islamic Education at Islamic Junior High School of Sultan Agung 1 Semarang
This type of research is qualitative descriptive, with data collection methods including interviews, documentation methods, and observation / observation methods. Meanwhile, the analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis, which describes the role of the principal in order to improve the quality of education, then analyzes it with evidence of the validity of the data. In this case the author's analysis focuses on planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, motivating, facilities, and empowering education at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. as well as the role of the principal in order to improve the quality of education, especially PAIThe results of this study indicate that the role played by the principal is related to the quality of education at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. It has been implemented optimally, this can be seen in: 1) The administrative management at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang is very good, starting from (a) managing complete data and information, (b) displaying appropriate reports and important notes, ( c) provide relevant and up-to-date reports. Education quality management at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang., in implementing education management there are several steps taken by the principal, including the following: planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, motivation, facilities, and empowerment .  and Here the authors do not find such a significant problem, because the resulting Out Put shows a good increase, so that the Sultan Agung 1 Islamic Junior High School Semarang. categorized as an integrated school. 2) The role of the principal in improving the quality of education is carried out in the following steps: (a) improving the quality of teachers, namely by including teachers to take part in training and courses, carry out K13 socialization activities, the existence of BUSI (Islamic Culture) which is very structured, and implementing the MGMP, (b) determining the Hidden Curriculum, which is carried out by providing additional hours for reading the Qur'an, maximizing the mosque as a place for religious activities, and participating in PHBI. 3) The application of administrative management of the head in improving the quality of education is very relevant because the head schools have a very influential role in shaping administrative and structural institutions, in an effort to maximize the existing education at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. Administrative management of the principal at SMP Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang greatly affects the smoothness of improving the quality of education here , because the principal has full authority.
