Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in the society, especially among school-age children. School Bullying Statistic found that 85% of bullying cases occur in schools and are not stopped by teachers. Continuous Bullying will impact children development that can last until adulthood. Victims of bullying will feel psychologically disturbed and have the possibility to commit suicide. In school-age children, bullying will reduce self-confidence, lower self-esteem and increase student absenteeism at school which in turn will reduce children's achievement. The method used in this community service activity is providing education to students, teachers, and school administrators. The results of community service showed that not a few of the students considered bullying as a normal thing to do. The type of bullying that is often done by students in the school environment is verbal bullying. Handling bullying in schools must pay attention to several aspects, namely individual, academic, cultural, and social. Handling the problem of bullying in schools is the same as handling other problems that occur at school. All parties must be responsible for bullying incidents in schools including teachers, parents and students themselves
