OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF HALAL PRODUCTS IN INDONESIA IN FACING THE ERA OF SOCIETY 5.0

Abstract


Indonesia has considerable opportunities and challenges in realizing its ideals as the epicenter of the world’s halal products, given it is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Strategic collaboration and firm commitment are certainly needed by all entities in Indonesia starting from abundant improvements in various domestic matters in Indonesia to the realm of foreign politics, especially in the face of the swift currents of globalization and the era of disruption and challenges in the era of Society 5.0. This study attempts to scrutinize the existing problems by applying the normative juridical method which examines the problems discussed and analyzed using descriptive and prescriptive techniques to obtain the final conclusion.
