Pelatihan Menumbuhkan Growth Mindset dalam Organisasi Pemuda Daerah Muhammadiyah
Abstract
Muhammadiyah Youth is an Islamic organization dedicated to developing cadres for the organization, community, and nation. The group faces challenges in sustaining member motivation, supporting personal growth, and improving organizational performance. This community service program aims to strengthen cadres' growth mindsets through experiential learning based on Kolb’s cycle: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. The program includes two sessions: a 180-minute core training and a 60 minute reflection/evaluation segment. Fourty four cadres, aged 17 to 49, participate. Program effectiveness is assessed using pre- and post-tests, with a mindset scale (Dweck’s 2006). Initial results show increased growth mindset scores, although not significant, suggesting participants are becoming more open to learning and innovation. The intervention is expected to encourage more active and progressive contributions from the cadre to Muhammadiyah organizational management.
