The Role of Work Life Balance: Organizational Climate on Innovative Work Behavior
Abstract
This research aims to analyze and understand how organizational climate influences innovative work behavior, with work life balance as a moderating variable to assess how significantly it can affect the relationship between organizational climate and innovative work behavior. The population in this study is the organic employees of Departemen Pengelolaan Uang, Bank Indonesia, with a sample of 146 respondents and data collection processed using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The sampling technique used in this study is proportional random sampling, and the data analysis process employs SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the relationships between variables. The research results show that organizational climate has a significant influence on innovative work behavior. The role of work life balance in moderating the relationship between organizational climate and innovative work behavior has a positive but not significant relationship. This indicates the importance of establishing an ideal organizational climate to enhance innovative performance behavior for employees of Departemen Pengelolaan Uang, Bank Indonesia, with support from effective implementation of work life balance.
