The Diversion Mechanism for Child Cases in the Investigation Process

Abstract


Settlement of child cases against the law is a crime that will never occur without the intention of the perpetrator and the presence of an act. Children should not be competent to commit crimes, let alone commit criminal acts, criminal laws for children who commit crimes must still be legally processed. Mechanism of diversion of cases in the process of investigation for settlement. The perpetrator is a child so that the settlement of the case uses the diversion mechanism and does not meet the formal requirements, so that the diversion cannot be carried out at the case investigation level and continues to the prosecution stage.
