The Dynamics Of Working From Home (WFH) During The Pandemic Of Covid-19, A Study About Work Family Conflict And Parenting Self Efficacy In Working Mothers

Abstract


Kebijakan Work From Home (WFH) di masa pandemi membuat Ibu bekerja sulit menyeimbangkan pekerjaan kantor dan pekerjaan rumah tangga, khususnya dalam mengasuh anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa hubungan antara parenting self efficacy dengan konflik peran ganda pada ibu bekerja yang menjalani work from home di masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif korelasional serta menggunakan quota purposive random sampling. Telah didapatkan sampel sebanyak 55 Ibu bekerja di Jakarta. Adapun skala yang digunakan, yaitu Self-Effficacy for Parenting Tasks Index-Toddler Scale (SEPTI-TS) (rx = 0,906), skala konflik peran ganda (rx = 0,907). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara parenting self efficacy dengan konflik peran ganda pada ibu bekerja yang menjalani WFH (sig =  -0,634) dengan kekuatan hubungan yang tergolong cukup kuat. Adapun parenting self efficacy memberikan sumbangan efektif pada konflik peran ganda sebesar 40,2%. Analisis tambahan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan level konflik peran ganda berdasarkan keberadaan keluarga besar dan usia, namun tidak pada kepemilikan asisten rumah tangga. Disisi lain, usia anak sangat signifikan pada variabel parenting self efficacy.
