The Relationship Between College Student’s Self-Esteem And Donation Decisions

Abstract


Keputusan donasi merupakan proses di mana individu memutuskan untuk memberikan bantuan finansial, barang, atau jasa kepada penerima yang membutuhkan. Mengambil keputusan untuk berdonasi memerlukan pertimbangan yang matang dan salah satu hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan adalah mencakup tentang keyakinan dalam dirinya, penilaian diri dan perasaan positif terhadap diri sendiri atau Self-esteem.  Self-esteem individu dapat mempengaruhi mereka untuk memberi dan cara individu berkontribusi dalam kegiatan sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan self-esteem dengan keputusan donasi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan subjek 142 mahasiswa. Meskipun hipotesis awal kami telah dirumuskan dengan hati-hati, bukti empiris yang kami kumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa harus ada peninjauan kembali terhadap pemahaman kami tentang fenomena yang diamati. Selaras dengan itu hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh tidak mendukung hipotesis yang diajukan.
