Pengaruh Modern Wound Irrigation Device (MWID) terhadap penyembuhan ulkus diabetik

Abstract


Pendahuluan:Penderitadiabetes melitusmemilikikomplikasimakrovaskulerdanmikrovaskuler, salahsatunya adalah ulkusdiabetikum.Salahsatutujuanperawatanulkus kaki diabetik adalah mengurangi infeksi dengan melakukancleansingkhususnyatehnikirigasi yang bertujuanmengurangijumlahbakteripadalukasehinggadiharapkanproses inflamasi lebihcepatteratasi.Masih jarang penelitianmengenaipenggunaan alat irigasipadaulkusdiabetikum.Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuipenggunaanmodernwoundirrigationdevice(MWID)terhadappenyembuhanulkus diabetik.Metode:Penelitian ini adalah quasieksperimentanpakelompok kontrol.Respondendilakukanperawatanlukadiabetikdengan menggunakanalatMWID sebagai alat irigasi.Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 10 orang, sebelumperawatanluka,kondisilukadinilai kemudian dilakukan perawatanlukamenggunakanMWIDselama 3hari.Penilaiankembali kondisi lukadilakukan hari terakhirperawatanluka. Instrumen untukmengetahuikondisi lukamenggunakanlembar observasiWagnerulkus diabetikumscale.Hasil:didapatkan p value lebih dari 0,05. Simpulan: disimpulkan tidak ada perbedaan perkembangan luka sebelum dan setelah dilakukan MWID. Perlu adanya penelitian lanjutan dengan mempertimbangkan lama hari perawatan luka dikaitkan dengan perkembangan penyembuhan luka.
