Edukasi Adaptasi dan Membedakan Mitos dan Fakta pada Masa New Normal bagi Kader PKK

Abstract


Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengedukasi kader PKK tentang pentingnya protokol kesehatan dan membedakan antara mitos dan fakta pada masa New Normal sebagai upaya pencegahan Infeksi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa edukasi berbasis teori sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19 dengan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah kader PKK Susukan, Ungaran Timur, Kabupaten Semarang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa para kader PKK meningkat pengetahuannya terkait membedakan mitos dan fakta setelah tahap teori dan edukasi tentang cara waspada dan menghadapi Covid-19, cara menerapkan PHBS (Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat). Kader juga mendapatkan edukasi tentang pola hidup sehat seperti cara mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar, cara menggunakan masker (mengenal jenis masker sekali pakai dan jenis masker cuci ulang), menghindari kontak langsung dengan warga lain, mematuhi protokol kesehatan, menerapkan pola dan perilaku hidup sehat di masyarakat dengan pola makan sehat bergizi, olahraga teratur, pemantauan kesehatan secara berkala di Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan terdekat.

The purpose of this community service is to educate PKK cadre on the importance of health protocol and differentiating between myths and facts during New Normal as an effort to prevent Covid-19 Infection. The method used in this community service is in the form of theory-based education as an effort to prevent Covid-19 with three stages, namely the preparation, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The targets of this community service activity were the PKK cadres of Susukan, East Ungaran, Semarang Regency. The results of this community service activity showed that the cadres of PKK improved their knowledge related to differentiating myths and facts after the theory and education stage on how to be aware of and deal with COVID-19, how to apply PHBS (Clean and Healthy Lifestyle). the cadre also get an education on healthy lifestyle such as how to wash their hands properly and correctly, how to use a mask (knowing the types of disposable masks and types of re-washing masks), avoiding direct contact with other residents, complying with health protocols, implementing healthy living patterns and behaviors in the community with healthy nutritious diet, regular exercise, regular health monitoring at the nearest Health Service Center.
