LAW ENFORCEMENT TOWARD ERADICATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE STEALING IN THE REGION OF POLDA JATENG (CASE STUDY THAT HANDLED POLDA JATENG)

Abstract


The objectives of the study are 1) To study and analyze law enforcement against the eradication of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Central Java Regional Police. 2) To analyze the factors that influence law enforcement against the eradication of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Central Java Regional Police. 3) To formulate law enforcement solutions to eradicate criminal acts of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Central Java Regional Police in the future.
 The research method used in this study uses empirical juridical research that is a type of sociological legal research and can also be referred to as field research, which examines the applicable legal provisions and what happens in reality in the community. In this study, law is conceptualized as an empirical phenomenon that can be observed in real life.
The results of the study concluded that: 1) Law enforcement against the eradication of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Central Java Regional Police to control or tackle crime (criminal politics) using 2 (two) means, namely: a) Non-penal means is law enforcement against acts the criminal uses non-penal means including the use of social facilities to improve certain social conditions, but indirectly influences efforts to prevent crime. b) Means of penalties Means of penalties are crime countermeasures using criminal law 2) Factors that influence law enforcement against eradicating motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of Central Java Regional Police consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors are those that occur from themselves, while external factors are factors that are created from outside themselves, this factor can be said to be quite complex and varied. Social inequality, economic inequality, injustice, etc., are examples of causes of criminal acts originating from outside themselves. 3) Law enforcement against the eradication of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Central Java Regional Police in the future is to optimize investigations, effective and efficient, of course improvement, by going through the changes above it is hoped that a professional, clean, authoritative and investigative figure will be realized. loved by people who are protected, protected and served. These steps are reflected in the personal integrity of each investigator / assistant investigator as a whole.
